Canadian History / Longest continuing serving Infantry Regiment in Canada
Formed on 26 April 1860, The Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada is Canada’s oldest continuously serving infantry regiment, and since that time its members have served in every significant conflict in which Canadians have participated. The Regimental Museum and Archive was established in 1956, located first in Calgary but moved to the famous Casa Loma in Toronto in 1970.
